	This routine determines whether or not the passed string is composed
	of printable characters.

	string		string to check
	length		length of string (If a value of zero is passed
			or this argument is defaulted, the length of the
			string will be calculated.)

	This function returns status values as follows:

	TRUE			string is printable
	FALSE			string is not printable
