	This routine finds the first occurrence of one string within another.

	source_string	string to be searched
	source_length	length of string to be searched  (If this argument
			has a value of zero, the routine will determine
			the length of the string.)
	match_string	string to be searched for
	match_length	length of string to be searched for  (If this argument
			has a value of zero, the routine will determine
			the length of the string.)
	case_sensitive	case sensitivity flag
			(TRUE -> case sensitive search,
			 FALSE -> case insensitive search)
	wildcard	wildcard character which will match any
			single character
			(STR_NO_WILDCARD -> don't use any wildcards,
			 otherwise -> desired wildcard character)
	ignore_spaces	white space handling flag
			(TRUE -> ignore embedded white spaces,
			 FALSE -> treat white spaces like any other character)
	next_string	address of the next character in the source string
			(If a value of NULL is passed for this argument,
			no address will be returned.)

	This function returns status values as follows:

	CLIB_INVARG		invalid argument passed
	CLIB_MEMFAIL		dynamic memory allocation failure
	0			string not found
	positive number		index of string found (starts at 1)
