			     max_device.i2.r, work_area.i1a.r,
			     retrieval_index.i2.r, error.i2.r)

	This routine will add a request for save file device errors to 
	the specified Save/Restore work area.

	device_index	device index of first device to return error data.
			If zero, starts at the beginning of error list.
	file_number	file number from which to retrieve error data
	max_device	maximum number of devices to return
	work_area	work area array initialized by srwain and used in
			srproc to retrieve information from the Save/Restore
	retrieval_index	retrieval index from the returned data.	 This value must
			be saved for use with the 'srget(i)' calls.
	error		standard ACNET error/success return

	This function returns ACNET status values as follows:

	OK			success
	SAV_RST_ILWORK		invalid work area
	SAV_RST_NOTYET		unsupported data source requested
	SAV_RST_ILPA		invalid number of devices requested
	SAV_RST_NSFL		file number not found
	SAV_RST_WORK_FULL	request failed
	SAV_RST_xxx		Save/restore error
