	This routine will retrieve value(s) from a packed data buffer.

	packed_buffer	packed data buffer to retrieve from
	data_type	data type to retrieve (use CNV_xxx constants)
			(use CNV_CHAR for strings)
	max_length	maximum length of string or number of elements
			to retrieve
	data_length	returned length of string for CNV_CHAR or number
			of elements
	data		returned data
	[options]	retrieval options
			(PACKED_DATA_OPT_NONE -> no options specified (default))

	This function returns ACNET status values as follows:

	OK			success
	CLIB_INVARG		invalid data type or data length
