	This routine converts a Frequency Time Descriptor (FTD) to a
	data event string.

	ftd		Frequency Time Descriptor to convert
			(constants are in 'diolib')
	string		returned data event string
	string_length	maximum number of characters to return
			(up to DATA_EVENT_MAX_LEN characters)

	This function returns ACNET status values as follows:

	OK			successful conversion
	CLIB_NOTYET		FTD value not supported
	CLIB_INVARG		invalid data event data or reply string pointer
	CLIB_INVSIZ		string length limit is too small for the
				data event specified
