status.i4.v = error_imbedded_on([allow_messages.i4.v])

	This routine enables the ability for library routines to make
	calls to error_display(_c).

	[allow_messages] flag indicating whether or not embedded informational
			 messages should be displayed
			 (TRUE -> display informational messages (default),
			  FALSE -> suppress informational messages)

	This function returns status values as follows:

	ERR_EMBEDDED_ALL_ENABLED    previously embedded calls were enabled
	ERR_EMBEDDED_ERRORS_ENABLED previously embedded errors but not
				    informational messages were enabled
	ERR_EMBEDDED_DISABLED	    previously embedded calls were disabled

	This function requires the following include files:
