status.i4.v = dio_can_ftp_c(device_indices.i4a.r, can_ftps.i4a.r,
				    ftp_classes.i4a.r, errors.i2a.r

This routine determines whether or not a device or a list of
devices can be read via the Fast Time Plot protocol. Please,
note that this routine only returns information for the
reading properties of the requested devices.

device_indices	device index or array of device indices
can_ftps	returned Fast Time Plot capability or array of returned
(TRUE -> device can be read via FTP protocol,
FALSE -> device cannot be read via FTP protocol,
DIO_INVALID_DATA -> error occurred in reading data)
(A value of NULL can be passed for this argument if
			 this information is not needed.)
ftp_classes	returned FTP class code(s) (constants are in 'ftp')
(A value of NULL can be passed for this argument if
			 this information is not needed.)
errors returned error status or array of errors
[num_devices]	number of devices (default is 1)

This function returns ACNET status values as follows:

	OK success
	DIO_MEMFAIL memory allocation failure
negative value ACNET format error indicating overall failure
positive value number of devices in error indicating partial

This function requires the following include files:
