buf.i1a.r = clib_ctime(pTime.u4.r, [ubuf.i1a.r])
This function assumes the time parameter is local time in seconds
since 00:00:00 Jan 1, 1970. An optional 26 byte result buffer can be
supplied for thread safety.
This function was introduced during the VAX/VMS to PC/Linux migration.
It is/was intended to reproduce the semantics of just plain ctime() on
VAX/VMS. VAX/VMS as it was configured unfortunately used local time.
The use of local time created discontinuities in the values returned
from time(). on VAX/VMS. See the explanation of clib_ctime for
details. New uses of this function are discouraged.
This function requires the following include files:
ctime, asctime, timezone_info
unsigned int seconds;
seconds = clib_time();
printf("TIME: %s", clib_ctime(&seconds));
